Can I adjust my glasses at home?

YES! You can make these easy adjustments to get a perfect fit.

ADJUSTING YOUR GLASSES

TIP: Never make big, drastic adjustments to your glasses at once. Always make small adjustments then check the glasses for fit and continue making small, minor adjustments until you get the best fit.

COMMON PROBLEMS:

The Glasses are Sitting Too Low or Too High

Metal/Wire Frame

If your glasses are TOO HIGH, gently push out on the plastic nose pad. Do this on both sides until they sit at the desired height.

Plastic/ Acetate Frame

If glasses are TOO LOW, hold a hair dryer about 4” from the bridge of the frame for about 30 seconds. Then bend the right and left side toward the nose.

COMMON PROBLEMS:

Glasses are Sliding Down

One lens is higher than the other

If the Left lens is Higher

 
Gently bend down the RIGHT side of the temple at the end and at the section before the temple curve.
 

If the Right lens is Higher

 
Gently bend down the LEFT side of the temple at the end and at the section before the temple curve.

COMMON PROBLEMS:

One lens is Closer to The Eye Compared to the other

If Left Lens is Closer

 
Gently bend the LEFT temple in (near the hinge area) and the RIGHT temple out (near the hinge area)
 

If the Right Lens is Closer

 
Gently bend the RIGHT temple in (near the hinge area) and the LEFT temple out (near the hinge area)
